Still our hearts are close.

Tell us a little about your piece?

No matter what Christmas means a gift to me. They say it’s better to give than to receive. In my work, I wanted to give comforting gifts to people who are tired and struggling with the social distancing or lockdown caused by the pandemic like these days.

What was the most challenging part of the brief?

For me, who usually use paper of various colors and weights, creating a piece only with paper of given colors and weight was a new challenge. Especially the 120 gsm was a little thin, so it was a bit difficult to make a cake at the bottom.

What part of the collaboration did you enjoy the most?

Every year I work on a personal project on the theme of Christmas, and it's always fun to make a work on the theme of Christmas. And creating a piece of paper with limited colors, weight and textures is not easy, but on the contrary, it is quite exciting.

How did you enjoy working with the paper sent?

All the papers I received were fanstastic. Easy to cut and neatly folded and pasted. The colors are vibrant, so they photographs really well. Above all, I think they were a perfect combination for Christmas.
